Groovy Q delivers his fourth studio LP.
There’s no denying that the climate in this country right now makes its hard to enjoy music in the capacity I would like to. On one hand ScHoolboy Q just released his fourth studio LP with Blank Face and on the other people are being treated as if they have blank faces. We are looked at with no purpose and meaning in this world today.
Now I don’t want to continue down this sad road, because we will be here all day. I will let you know that today we celebrate another notch on the TDE member’s belt as he delivers a successful story from the darkness of gang life in Los Angeles. Blank Face comes after a 2 year hiatus from rap for Quincy. Now 2 years is not a long time at all. I still remember having to wait a couple of years between Outkast albums. However its a different time in music and we are all about “what have you done for me lately.”
Coming in at 17 tracks, Q leaves no room for error as he address everything and brings along a host of features from the west coast including Anderson .Paak, Miguel, Tha Dogg Pound and Vince Staples. With Jadakiss and SZA rounding out the rest. As far as production, Swizz Beatz, DJ Dahi, Southside, Metro Boomin, Alchemist and the in house crew of Sounwave, Willie B and Tae Beast hold things down.
