The South Carolina native brings rap back to its essence on his latest project.
For the past couple of weeks now you may have notice some major support from an emcee by the name of Nick Grant here on Da Den. after being introduced to the South Carolina native on the Ricco Barrino-assisted “Dead Poet Society”, we named him our Sunday Spotlight artist the following week.
Since then it seems that he continues to solidify his name in the hip-hop wall of who’s next up, releasing his “Royalty” Remix featuring Big K.R.I.T. and Killer Mike, while taking us back to school on the Young Dro-Assited “CLASS ACT”. Both singles were just place holders, leading up to his 88 mixtape, which we finally get a chance to hear today.
Coming in at 13 tracks, Nick Grant doesn’t disappoint, giving us lyricism that Andre 3000 and Nas would appreciate. Just to think this is only the beginning for the Culture Republic emcee. Plus having a co-sign from Jason Geter, there is only a matter of time before he is a household name.
