Look out for Detox or whatever name it will be.

Now I know you may think this is “click bait” — I thought the same thing too when I read the story — but when I read the article on Billboard, I thought maybe there is some type of validity to the claims.

The news broke during an interview with Ice Cube and F. Gary Gray on Power 99 in Philadelphia when they said Dr. Dre is dropping an album inspired by Straight Outta Compton. Now I don’t know if this is something similar to what JAY Z did with American Gangster, but what I do know is we have all patiently awaited for Detox, forgot about it and waited again.

Word is the album will be available on August 1st and if that holds to be true, I’m certain it will debut on Apple Music (maybe on his show The Pharmacy). At this point I guess only time can tell.
