Once again, Yamin Semali falls through with a solid remix and this time he chops up Donny Hathaway a bit differently for Jay Z’s “4:44” song. NO ID’s original production was full of Soul but Yamin’s version actually takes Mr. Carter’s confessions to the church house with angelic background singers floating above the drum loops while Donny Hathaway rocks the chorus.
