When it comes to singers there are only a few things that I require. One is great songwriting and two soul. Don’t sleep on that last one either. There is just something about singers that can make it feel something in my spirit that gets me every time. That’s where this week’s Sunday Spotlight come in. Lazies meet Kenya Latrice.

The Birmingham native first caught our attention about a month or so ago when we heard her “Man Eater” single. That prompted us to invite her as a guest to our Sundresses and Sangria event a couple of weeks ago. It was at that moment when everything came together for us.
