For this week’s Sunday Spotlight we shift gears a bit and take a trip down the Savannah, Georgia. That’s where we meet the angelic voice of a singer/songwriter parked in her on lane. Lazies meet Morrisa Jeanine.

Now we first came across Morrisa’s music through the homie Nika over at Broke2Dope. It was during the early stages of our biweekly showcase over at PAG Lounge in Atlanta. Since then we’ve been hooked. Not only does she have a voice that will wake up any one sleeping on her talent, but her live show personifies superstardom.

After releasing her Year XXVI EP late 2014, she returned with a new single “Standing“. With a new project on the horizon, we took the time to celebrate her now before she gets out of range. So with that being said, give her music a spin below.
