R.I.P. Sean Price

Way way way too young. Sean Price definitely held his own as a solo artist, but I first fell in love with him as half of one of the most underrated rap duos of all time: Heltah Skeltah. Their 1996 debut, Nocturnal, is an underground classic – and if you haven’t heard it you should try to fix that asap – but I wanted to celebrate Sean today with this impromptu cypher session they recorded on Stretch and Bobbito’s The Wake Up Show that same year. We’ll miss you homie.
