Most of you know BJ The Chicago Kid for singing the hook on ScHoolboy Q’s “Studio” and if you dug deeper you may even know him from the early TDE days. Well after seeing this interview on Real Late w/ Rosenberg, we learned so much more.
BJ details how he got his start in music, which included moving to L.A. to sing background for Mary Mary. From there we eventually made his way to writing for Mario and Usher. He also tells us about working with legends James Brown and meeting Teddy P. Insightful interview and definitely learned some things we didn’t know.
