Earlier this year, we here at Da Den was thinking of a way we could showcase the underground artists we felt were next up. Then the idea of something we like to call Sunday Spotlight was introduced. We took a closer look at the emcee and not just their music. We wanted to make sure those artists who made our Sunday Spotlight really had the potential and drive to be the next up. Then a couple of weeks ago the idea of a mixtape surfaced. What better way to showcase their grind than in a full length compilation of our favorite records from them. This first volume features 36 tracks from DiV.W, Skewby, TAYLOR., Radio B, SkyBlew, Ronnie Brown, EarthGang, Drique London, Macon Hamilton, Inkwell and Jimmy Hennec just to name a few. With production from Ace Harris of PkOneDay, NameBrand, Pitt Tha Kid, U’Nique Music, Koji The Bandit and more. Overall just expect a dope presentation of hip-hop from the future stars of the game.
