Unless you are under a rock some where then you know Jay-Z turned 44 today. Hov took to his Life+Times site to rank his own solo albums (those R.Kelly collabs not included). Pretty dope to see one of the greats put himself aside and provide an honest self evaluation. I agree with a good portion of his opinion, but Hov we gotta flip flop Vol.2 and American Gangster. How do you like the order?

Take a look at what he had to say about his list after the jump.

1. Reasonable Doubt (Classic)
2. The Blueprint (Classic)
3. The Black Album (Classic)
4. Vol. 2 (Classic)
5. American Gangster (4 1/2, cohesive)
6. Magna Carta (F*ckwit, Tom Ford, Oceans, Beach, On the Run, Grail)
7. Vol. 1 (Sunshine kills this albumโ€ฆf*ckโ€ฆ Streets, Where Iโ€™m from, You Must Love Meโ€ฆ)
8. BP3 (Sorry critics, itโ€™s good. Empire (Gave Frank a run for his money)
9. Dynasty (Intro aloneโ€ฆ)
10. Vol. 3 (Pimp C verse aloneโ€ฆ oh, So Ghetto)
11. BP2 (Too many songs. F*cking Guru and Hip Hop, ha)
12. Kingdom Come (First game back, donโ€™t shoot me)
