Two years in the making.

When we were first introduced to God Body Wati back in 2014 on Dyme-A-Duzin’s “Mo Ends Mo Enemies” this guy made his voice known and broke through enough that we’ve kept in close contact with his music. This eventually lead us to name him our Sunday Spotlight the following year.

Late 2015 we started hearing whispers of a new project in the works from Wati Heru titled Midnight Madina. Now if you’re like me, then you know that mentioning anything about new music will have me impatient. And trust when I say Wati made us wait PATIENTLY for this LP. Roughly two years to be exact.

Now that the time was right Wati Heru delivers Midnight Madina in the form of 10 tracks. With production handled mainly by Kemal & Kashaka (Lord Plawz is the lone third) and features from Biggie Brooks & Midnite, Wati makes the wait well worth it.
