My Momma Knows I’m Trappin’ on the way.
This year Easter Sunday was a bit different from previous year. My grandmother (who is probably the most spiritual person I know) turned 83 years young. So when I saw an email with Black Jesus in the title, it wasn’t hard to open it up and see what it was about. Now add that to the fact it came from Immerze’s camp and it made for a good time.
The Vancouver emcee drops a visual for “Ying-Ying”, a song he describes as him “meditating out loud.” Not being the one to shy away from his spirituality, Immerze manages to paint a picture of faith with a bit of comedy to deliver his message.
Watch the Immerze & Scope Man-directed visual below.
Immerze will release his forthcoming project, My Momma Knows I’m Trappin’ May 21st, 2017.
