Known for his production contributions for nearly a decade, GAWVI decided to get behind the mic last year, dropping two EPs Lost in Hue and Holding Hue. After hitting 2.5 million streams on Spotify, GAWVI move into the world of EDM and CCM was quickly solidified and prompted him to start work on his debut LP, We Belong.

With a recurring theme of letting the world know that we are all loved and regardless of our situations we have to love ourselves and understand who we truly are before we can find purpose to impact the world.

Last week I personally had the pleasure of hearing the album at his listening experience here in Atlanta. GAWVI performed a couple of songs from the album while bringing out Andy Mineo. The crowd was a real melting pot with everyone from the ages of 14 to 40 all jumping in unison to EVERY song GAWVI played, furthering the claim that this music is for everyone.
