The Stone Mountain resident releases his debut LP.

Last summer Outkast announced that they would have a homecoming concert in Atlanta at Centennial Olympic Park. Now being a huge Kast fan, one thing that immediately caught my attention was a kid by the name of Raury on the bill. At the time I had never heard of the name, let alone the music. I did know who Outkast was and the fact that they saw something in this guy prompted me to at least hear what he had to say. That led me to a couple of songs “God’s Whisper” and “Cigarette Song”. Needless to say I was sold. From there he released his Indigo Child in a creative way, using an interactive video game that by the end you knew every word of “God’s Whisper”. Oh did I mention I held the high score for at least a couple of hours?

Well now after being named to the 2015 XXL Freshmen Class, Raury delivers his long-awaited debut album, All We Need via Columbia Records. Backed by singles “Devil’s Whisper” and the Big K.R.I.T.-assisted “Forbidden Knowledge”, the now 19 year old artist finds balance between artistic expression and entertainment on the 14 track project.
