Now I for one am not a huge fan of remixing overly popular songs, especially when the artist copy the cadence throughout the whole record, but when Erkyah Badu name is attached to it, you have to at least hit play. Thankfully I did. Not only did she body Drake’s “Hotline Bling”, but she did it in only a way that she could. On top of all that, it comes with the announcement of a new mixtape from the Fat Lady Bella titled BUT U CAINT USE MY PHONE. I’m all in for this one and word is that her and Andre 3000 son Seven Benjamin co-wrote the song with her.
