Black Thought goes off the top

Sometimes you see or hear a famous artist in their early days and think, “oh yeah, there was literally no way they weren’t making it.” This black thought freestyle is one of those times. The Roots changed the game with their live band approach, but in my humble opinion it’s still always kinda been the Black Thought show. He absolutely killllls this cypher for three full minutes while Questlove beatboxes and their homie throws up a fat tag in the background. Enjoy.
