Meet This Week’s Sunday Spotlight Artist Go Phigga

I have to be honest, this week has been a crazy one. Have you ever had those moments when you felt like there was so much to do, but with little or no time to make it happen? Well that was me. After an epic wedding (bachelor parties included) for my boy B and watching the homie Scotty bring out B.o.B. and Big Gipp, I was pretty much beat and pretty clueless on our Sunday Spotlight artist for this week. That’s when I remembered just how much I’ve been riding to this project from Mississippi native Go Phigga.

The EP appropriately titled PHIGGA is the second project from Go Phigga and is all you need for your hip-hop fix with southern favor. He reminds you of the south that we love. Strong lyrics, great production and a southern drawl close to what we remember coming from many Texas emcees. We spoke with Phigga some time back for an interview and got a lot of why this guy is up next in our book. Get familiar with him below, then let us know what you think.
