Now residing in the U.K., South African born emcee Chris Cape brings forth his Back On Solid Ground mixtape. This one in my opinion plays more like an album. It finds Cape discovery his influence in music, while experimenting with different sounds and live instrumentation. With features from Brittany Dilkes, Sean Manche, illverse, Libo, Jo Kunnuji and Amy Walton; this one is definitely a project that you live with on your iTunes, even though I would rather have signed one on vinyl to add to the collection.
