When word first broke that Outkast would be performing at the Counterpoint Festival in Ga, it was a bittersweet moment. I mean lets face it, the thought of the Mighty O performing in Georgia is great but we want to see them hit the stage in Atlanta. Well it appears that will indeed happen. Even though it is not set in the stone just yet, the homie Maurice Garland just posted this on his Instagram page saying, “Its exactly what it looks like. All I can say is keep that date clear”. And if we need further confirmation, Killer Mike commented on the pic with a simple #Kast. Giving that he has performed with them several times already, I think its safe to say its a go. My guess is that the duo will hit the Music Midtown festival at Piedmont Park, even though reports are saying that festival takes place September 20th. We all have to wait and see. Are you ready for Outkast Atlanta? On another note…what if this was for an album? Let me know your thoughts in the comments. UPDATE: The Mighty O will perform September 27th at Centennial Olympic Park at 5pm Rain or Shine!ย And if what Big Gipp said back in January holds up, then expect a Dungeon Family reunion.
