Clap Clap is the latest song from the Mid-City L.A. emcee which brings a couple elements to the table as soon as you hear it. First, a killer Afro-Latin sounding sample with a splash of ill horns along with a Nigerian artist named Smalls speaking in his native tongue on the song’s bridge makes you wanna wave a flag at a festival somewhere. Second, F.Y.I. got bars! Third, the song disects the ills that come with the party lifestyle. For some time, many popular songs have lost serious cool points from artists not saying shit, so to hear a song with flavor and a message deserves to get a clap clap.
