If you rock with Da Den slightly then you have heard the name J-Coop come across a fair share of times. However if you’re new to party don’t fret, our Q&A session will bring you up to speed.
Q: Where are you from?
A: I’m from the Soufside of ATLanta, Ga. Riverdale to be precise.
Q: You recently went on your first regional tour, what did you learn the most from that experience?
A: I further came to the conclusion that hard work is an absolute must when attempting to carve a place for yourself in the music industry. Your passion needs to burn brighter than the fires in hell if you plan to make it. Long days, long nights & minimum sleep will become the norm if you’re doing it right. There are no fruits of labor available to those who choose to sit at home. Though the load is heavy I loved every second of being on the road & performing my songs in front of a crowd of people I’ve never met.
Q: What inspires you to create?
A: The world inspires me to create. My surroundings are a heavy influence on my material. I like to get visual & paint a picture for the world to view my thoughts. Like I’m really trying to make my albums a motion picture when I go in. Creating relatable music for the people is by far the easiest way for me to communicate because at the end of the day I’m sure we share a few of feelings & experiences.
