Can trolling produce fans?

According to Wikipedia Clickbait is a pejorative term describing web content that is aimed at generating online advertising revenue, especially at the expense of quality or accuracy, relying on sensationalist headlines or eye-catching thumbnail pictures to attract click-throughs and to encourage forwarding of the material over online social networks.

Now I know that’s a mouthful, but basically its trolling to get people to see your content. In today’s podcast we talk with Fredericksburg, VA native Mark Sre about how he used this method to gain notoriety for his single “Save It For Later”.

We go over the pros and cons and debate over whether or not this is an effective tactic for gaining fans.

So you know the drill…sit back…Relax and Listen!
