Meet this week’s Sunday Spotlight Theo Tywan.

There has only been a handful of artists that I’ve seen perform or heard their music and it stuck with me days after. That definitely holds true for this week’s Sunday Spotlight. While I’m not exactly sure how this guy got on our radar, I’m pretty sure it was his performance that caught our attention. Lazies meet Theo Tywan.

Hailing from the westside of Atlanta, at first glance you would probably think Theo Tywan was ready to serenade your lady friend. Usually sporting a bowtie and a blazer with some of the freshest oxfords shoes that would make your grandfather proud, Theo Tywan grabs your attention quickly off of his appearance. They say never judge a book by its cover and the this guy proves that statement to be fact. Not only can he rap better than some of your favorite rappers, this guy can hold a note or two or three.

He recently dropped a visual for his single “’98“. The video takes us back to a time of handheld cassette players was everything. While this single is just a taste of what’s to come for Theo Tywan, we hope to see more into his world with the release of his upcoming album, Stay In The Gray.
