DiV.W – Such Is Life

Not to fall for the sophomore jinx, DiV kept things simple for his album, Such Is Life. Coming in at 10 tracks, the SoCal native explores past relationships, intimate conversations with his mother, inner demons and more. While keeping the features at a minimum, the only verses you hear on Such Is Life other that DiV is Fleetwood Fred on “Cheap Ass Champagne” and Cada Bug & Pete The Rock Star on “Choose Sides”. With the majority of the production coming from Tone Legend, DiV also calls on Last Name Good, Ace Harris and Max Payne Shawty to round up things.

Paid In AmeriKKKa – Paid In AmeriKKKa

The politically charged project features 9 tracks of potent lyrics over stellar production. Morrisa Jeanine, TRUTH Hayes, Kay Denรฉ, Abib Jahleel, SmokyDB and others serve as features on the album.

Phay – MAMA

Around that same time we learned that he was prepping his debut. Now after releasing singles with Fat Trel “Humble (Bang)”, Young Dro “Holy Moly” and a couple others, the son of immigrant parents pays homage to his mother on an album Phay appropriately titled MAMA.

Da Deputy – Bear Your Soul

The 10 track album is what I like to call the unapologetically Texas. He gives us country rap tunes that Pimp C would be proud of, while delivering personal testimonies that the masses can relate to. With features from Fleetwood Fred, Brandon Marcel and Jaeson Green, Da Deputy keeps things primarily focused on him.

Grip – PORCH

Coming in at 11 tracks PORCH was majority produced by AHYES and features Michael Aristotle, TUT, Devon of Wolf County, Tate228, Dani, and Kaynellz.

Lazurus – Do it Yourself

Production on Do It Yourself is provided by Millie Vaughn, DublohSkytzo, Dizzle & D.R.U.G.S. Beats.

Hello Tomorrow – Hallelujah

Producer Tone Beatz constructed gospel samples that are evidently holy but thoroughly jamming in a way only he could make happen. This makes emcee D. Focisโ€™ lyrics and creativity shine through to give us the truth in plenty story and inspirational raps.

Big Lo Da Artist – My World on My Shoulders

Featuring Ryshon Jones, Sammie, Bishop3rd3000 and more.

AxJ – 14 Hours

Coming in at 10 tracks AxJ taps Tracie Cieara, Mvstermind, Grey and A.P. for features. He continues his jazz fusion of hip-hop while delivering a personal story of growth and what it really means to be an independent artist on the road.
