This is lowkey my favorite part of week. For those of you new to the program, Sunday Spotlight is when we showcase a some new talent that caught our attention. This week we head to New York, Pomona to be exact. Lazies meet Jelani Jeffries.

After coming across his “No Favors” single, we had to keep going to make sure it wasn’t a fluke. Let’s just say that the homie has more than one gem in the catalog. Coming off the release of his Scribble EP last month, the New York emcee has something special. Wordplay and beat selection is A1 and add that to his ability to keep your attention makes for a great combination.
