Collaboration projects have been the wave for a while but very few actually have a decent theme. MikeFlo and Lex Boogie from the Bronx have come together for The Blackest Matter album with a concept they describe as “…a soundscape for a Black Super Hero who told his stories of wins and losses, and the trials and tribulations he endured while on his journey to free himself and his people mentally and physically.” All production is handled by Lex Boogie while MikeFlo spits his slick but passionate style with features from Ras Kass, Zayd Malik, and Ekundayo.
