Layla Martinez has graced the pages at Da Den for as long as we can remember. Not only was she the very first guest on our podcast, Layla Martinez has been vocal behind the scenes on so many things, we don’t have time to explain right now.

What can be said is the Philly native is back to penning classic records for herself. Today we get the go ahead as she releases her first single, “Being A Girl (My Feet Hurt).” The Last Name Good-produced single features a vocal sample chanting the words “My Feet Hurt”. If you listen closely you will hear the pain and aggression from Layla paying homage to every woman who ever slip their feet in a pair of heels.
