R.I.P. Chinx.

Last year we had the pleasure of interview J. Bonkaz of The Genius Club on The Good Hennec Show. Off camera the homie played me a handful of records, one of which featured the late Chinx. Now months later the song finally sees the light of day as the production team pay respect to the Queens native on “Personal”.

Today we salute and pay respect to one of our fallen (yet risen) soldiers, Chinx formerly known as Chinx Drugz. The Queens bred artist was certainly on his way to becoming a genre defining creative. This previously unreleased record “Personal” is exactly that. The song is produced by Genius Klub and provides us a heartfelt expression of spirit, that seems to showcase where his thoughts were before his untimely demise. “Personal” will be featured on Genius Klub’s debut compilation Intellektual Property set to drop this Summer ’17 and will be featuring appearances from: Red Cafe, Big Sean, Roscoe Dash, Dave East & more, due out later this year.
