Chano takes advantage of the iPhone’s camera for his latest visual.

With the advancement of technology a couple of things have become apparent. Number one, you don’t need to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to get things done anymore. Number two, you can get directly in your fans face and hands via social media.

Chance The Rapper played on both of those things with his “How Great” video. Shot entirely with an iPhone, the black and white visual features Chance’s cousin opening up with singing her heart out, followed by a choir. Chance slowly comes into the frame and delivers his verse with hip-hop’s unicorn Jay Electronica making his way through a door to give us his bars.

Now of this is as impressive that how the video was actually shot. Anyone who has ever tried to film “professionally” on your iPhone knows that you should turn your phone horizontally to do so. Chance and his team had a different idea, using all types of turning which made for a very guerrilla rouge styled visual.
