The Cali native revisits his 1993 project with latest visual.

After releasing his 1993 LP last month, Caleborate has been one of those artists who I occasionally throw his music on during my DJ sets and people ask, “who is that?”. Of course I go through my spill of explaining (even going as far as sending them links). One of the records that stay in rotation is “Consequences” and thankfully we get a new visual for the Julia Lewis-produced cut.

The visuals finds the Bay Area native living out his rhymes to the letter. Caleborate explains the science behind the visual to EARMILK.

The video was filmed while I was on the “Before Anything” Tour with P-Lo. Me and all the guys from TBKTR were hella excited to be in LA, and we wanted to make the most of our time. So I had written out a video idea that maximized all the various props we had with us on our trip to shoot a visual that told a story but also illustrated the lyrics of the song. We ended up killing the entire first full day in LA on shooting that video but soon after we wrapped and we watched the clips back, we knew it was worth the time.
