God is my plug. Now before you go crazy on me and call me blasphemous, allow me to explain. This is the song title to this week’s Sunday Spotlight artist. Now at first listen to the record you may think to yourself, “what is this guy doing?”. But then you listen again and you realize the message in the music. Lazies meet Cliff Icon.

The Atlanta native is part of the FLY PAC movement with Damingo Brown and as of lately he’s started to focus on his solo career. The record that has everyone’s attention right now is the aforementioned “God Is My Plug” and when you see the energy Cliff Icon puts in the live performance of the record, you will quickly understand the importance this record will have on the city of Atlanta.

Passion, purpose and promise are the words that run through my mind when thinking of Icon and for someone who says his “I want my music to tell the story of a young talented kid in Atlanta, from my perspective, with the intent to connect with others who may feel the same way”, its clear the mission and we’re hear for it.
