Scotty ATL Unplugged

The Cool Club member live from Smith’s Olde Bar in Atlanta.

Last week Scotty ATL stepped outside the norm of what we have come to know from hip-hop artist. So what happened? Scotty put on an Unplugged show that we couldn’t help but think of JAY Z’s MTV Unplugged album back in 2001. In my opinion he placed himself in a lane of his own with his competition in the rear view mirror.

Set in the Morningside neighborhood of Atlanta, people flooded into Smith’s Olde Bar one by one. After a couple of opening acts from the home team, including Jaque Beatz, London Jae and Kissie Lee, Scotty took the stage and it was everything you could ask for.

Somewhere through his performance of “Three Steps”, I wonder was anyone recording the audio for this because an unplugged project would be great! Well it looks like someone was on the job and Scotty ATL being the genius he is, releases his Unplugged (Live From Smith’s Olde Bar) EP.

Peep the track list and stream below. Be on the lookout for this one to hit iTunes soon as well.
