The Philadelphia emcee returns with some heat.

During the rise of Roc-A-Fella, I always felt Freeway didn’t receive the proper respect he deserved. Lets face it, the Roc was all about Hov and rightfully so, however Free was the pulse crew. Whenever things started to feel a bit mum, we could count on the Philly Freezer’s unorthodox flow to cut through the mic and punch you in the chest.

Today he returns to mic with a new single, “Hot As Ice” as well as give us the release date for his Free Will LP (April 29th). Freeway is currently battling kidney disease and waiting to move up the list for a transplant. Through all of that, Freeway proves why he is a beast that will continue to persevere through anything.
