New music from the NRC camp.

NRC Sound rapper, Ready, brings us the 1st installment of his “Nightmares” Trilogy in the form of a 5 track project. Here is the Track listing for the EP:

Ready starts it off with a confident claim of having “No Worries”, with excellent production from Superstaar Beats. From the jump, “No Worries” serves us an atmospheric vibe, similar to that of an early Pusha-T. The record transitions nicely into an Omito Beats production, “N*ggas Know”, which is nothing short of a stand-out record. Ready found a way to mix the mood of a dark ambience and the grime of his city, New York,  to create records that almost force you to feel untouchable. To change the pace, Ready offers us “Know The 6”,  an ode to his hood known as 6 Block City.

“Know The 6” was produced by SB95, as well as the following track, “Nighttime”, which isn’t at all like the other songs on Nightmares of the Bottom. “Nighttime”  is a much more ominous track, with such a different vibe and energy and at the same time very fitting to the project title. Last but not least, Ready offers us another Omito Beats production, “No Problems”. Clearly how Ready feels, due to his work ethic and dedication to stand out and rise above his NY peers, as well as other musicians all over the world. Nightmares of the Bottom is only the beginning, and 2016 has only just begun. Only thing we can tell from this EP: are we Ready for more?
