Meet This Week’s Sunday Spotlight D. Focis.

As I watch the NFL Playoff continue today, I’m reminded quickly how much hip-hop has influence every part of our culture. The players are often playing music prior to the game and during warmups, once the game starts music is blast throughout the stadium and even the commentators are making cheesy references they’ve heard from their children and grandchildren.

All of this is why we continue to give you the who’s up next here on Da Den. Which brings us to this week’s Sunday Spotlight artist. Lazies meet D. Focis.

The Detroit native, now residing in Atlanta has been on our radar for quite some time. He first made his way on here early 2013, a couple of months after the site’s inception. He was also one of those first artist we met during our time at A3C as an official site.

From there we’ve kept watch, but honestly at times went astray. However after hearing his “Open Letter to Mr West” last week, when we knew it was time to give this guy the proper shine.
