One of the reasons why I place Dee-1 in a high regard as an emcee is because the dude takes the time out to talk about real issues. Issues that we all have faced at some point of time in our life. Not the facade that this industry is made of.

This story illustrates the frustration and confusion that occurred when Dee-1 had to decide whether to ask his homeboy for permission to date the girl he’s been crushing on or just date her without his homeboy’s consent.
