Mobile, Alabama may not be the first city that comes to mind when rap is mentioned. This doesn’t change the fact that you cannot mention Mobile rap without mentioning Lil Nardy. With this latest release, Nardy Marley claims his spot as a fore founder of the culture in the State, and he does so rightfully. Nardy is laced with production from Stunt and Dozier, and Robot House member Koji The Bandit to name a few.

The tape certainly has a side a and side b feel to it, which is a good thing. The first half is an introduction into Mobile and the sonic influences of Nardy and his city while the second half breaks traditional regional sound, attracting brand new ears to the same Country stories of the sleepy city that have long gone unheard.
