The follow up.

For the past couple of years Awon & Phoniks have been in the lab working on their latest LP, Knowledge Of Self. The 13-track project is the follow up the Newport News, VA emcee and Portland, ME producer Return to the Golden Era in Summer of 2013.

The project has been finished for a few months but we wanted to give the vinyl pressing plants time to catch up. It’ll drop on transparent blue 2x vinyl in 2 weeks and will be available from Dusty Platter’s bigcartel as well as Fat Beats, HHV, Vinyl-Digital and many other retailers. I sincerely hope you enjoy the project because we killed ourselves over this one. 13 tracks of the raw, dusty, soulful, jazzy hip-hop you expect from Awon & Phoniks laced with our original flavor. A few of my favorite tracks are “Do They Really Love You” ft. Dephlow, “Be Real With It” ft. Ivan Ave” and “Profit Off My Pain” ft. Heeni but I hope you can take the time to check the whole project, I promise there’s a song on there for everyone.
