Was that D.R.A.M. calling Drake?

So by now you’ve probably read all of the articles about D.R.A.M. giving his two cents on Drake’s “Hotline Bling” and feeling like he was robbed. Soooo I will completely spare you on that commentary. However I did want to shed some light on a mix that I recently came across from Winning Team member Abib Jahleel mixing the two records together.

Honesty I almost didn’t write this because we know how media works; one site makes a claim, supported by a quote and then the rest of the blog world goes along with it. I didn’t want to be in that category so I held off. But after taking a listen to this mix, it made me think that yes they definitely sound alike, but it also hit me that why should we care?

If you are in the club and “Hotline Bling” comes on you are going to dance. If “Cha Cha” comes on…you are going to dance. Music is all about movement. Now I know people want to go at Drake, especially after the whole ghost writer allegations. I get that and completely understand, but lets be brutally honest for a second. Which album are you buying?
