Since finding his way on Da Den back in 2014 on Dyme-A-Duzin’s HIP HOPE album, Brooklyn native Wati-Heru has continued to challenge the norm and change my perception of New York hip-hop. Whether it was showing the gritty side of things with visuals for “BKWYA” or having some fun on the mic with “Birdman Hand Rub… Pause“, Wati shows his diversity across the board.

Today he returns with a new joint titled “Subpoena”. The Lord Plawz-produced single is the first taste of what’s the come from his Midnight Madina project and is specifically targeted to his haters and those trying to sabotage his vision and career. Take a listen below.
