Meet this week’s Sunday Spotlight SmCity.

For the past couple of years we’ve been supporting this week’s Sunday Spotlight artist and it just occurred to me that we never gave him his proper shine. Hailing from Washington, D.C., this guy is no stranger to the hip-hop scene and more than likely you have heard his name mentioned with some of the who’s who in hip-hop. However this week its all about him. Lazies meet SmCity.

We first came across his music in 2013 with a visual for “New Years Revolution“. Since then it was safe to say he had our attention. Truthfully it wasn’t until the release of his Empire Falls LP back in December that made me double back and focus on his message. Simply put this guy should be on your radar and if he’s not, then take the time to get to know him and run through the catalog below.
