For this week’s Sunday Spotlight artist we take the trip across the border to Canada…Toronto to be exact. Perfect timing right? After a week that has been dominated by Meek Mill and Drake, it was only right that we shine a little light on an artist from the same city as the OVO head honcho. Lazies meet ShaqIsDope.

We first came across this guy’s music back in 2013 on his D.O.P.E. project. Of course the music is exactly what the title suggest. Today I had a chance to really go through his catalog and I constantly found myself becoming a bigger fan by the second. Truth is his music connects with me. The production is always solid and complimentary to Shaq’s cadence, allowing me to hear every word he spits.

A couple of weeks ago we got a new record from ShaqisDope with the Pitt Tha Kidd-produced “My Time”. This single found us inside the life of SID as he gives us examples of his personal life.
