Back in April of this year we had Sole2Dotz as a guest on The Str8OutDaDen Podcast. During that time the Chicago emcee now residing in Minneapolis, gave us some insight on how a change of scenery made him a better rapper. That statement holds truth as he release his long awaited project, The Dope Tape.

Coming in at 17 tracks, the tape goes above and beyond with content. Sole proves that he can rap on this one and even opens up to the fans on joints like “Game Playaz” and “Voltron”. The whole project plays on the “audio dope” theme that in my opinion has been used way too many times in hip-hop, but Sole manages do things in his own unique way.
