Meet This Week’s Sunday Spotlight Artist Chavis Chandler

Since coming across this week’s Sunday Spotlight artist back in 2014 on his Dark Skin Jermaine And The Legend Of The Leather Britches mixtape, I’ve been more than a fan of the Detroit emcee. The very fact that this guy was able to keep my attention for a whole project – which is rare now a days – was enough, so much so that we had to shine some light on his movement.

Lazies meet Chavis Chandler. Since that time, we’ve seen this guy release nothing but classic material that warrants the expectations of industry heavyweights like Kanye West or Big Sean. Even though he’s not quite there yet, his music and persona begs to differ and lets just say, we here at Da Den don’t want to slip up on a proven star. His most recent release is entitled The Call Of The Wild. The mixtape follows the same vein of dopeness as Dark Skin Jermaine And The Legend Of The Leather Britches and further proves why this guy is up next in our book.
