Flex May Be Safe

When the news broke that JAY Z was in negotiation to purchase Hot 97 sparked by an apparent “beef” with Funk Flex, we didn’t think too much of it. Even more now that he just purchased a music streaming company. According to Fortune, JAY Z’s Project Panther Bidco Ltd company purchased the Sweden-listed Aspiro, a company that runs the music streaming services WiMP and Tidal. That price tag you ask? 464 million Swedish crowns or $56 million in CASH.

We all know Hov’s pockets are deep, but with this move, I seriously doubt if he is trying to go in the direction of terrestrial radio, but that’s just my opinion.
