So as I was going about my Saturday night watching the LSU vs Alabama game, I stumbled across something new from the homie Truez. Sonically different from what we are used to hearing from him (check out Damn My Lifetime and True3nough for solid examples). Maybe it had something to do with his recent trip to Sonics that inspired the jazzy tune. Either way its music that we all can vibe to.

Word is that the “Honey Mustard Freestyle” is just the first of many to come from Truez a new series call Lyric Scat Freestyles. If this holds to be truth, then we should expect a refreshing sound to hip-hop often. Until then enjoy 5 minutes of jazz.
