You know we didn’t really understand what was going on back then. Most of us who were No Limit fans were patiently waiting on Mercedes Rear End album to drop (yes it did come out). During a conversation that my crew and I were having earlier, this topic came up and we thought it would be a good idea to keep the dialogue going on Da Den. Its been a while since we did our Talk Hip-Hop series but how about we pick things up now with this dope mini doc from Noisey.
Noisey Design: Defining the Visual Style of Southern Hip Hop takes us along the ride of visually looking at hip-hop. For the first part of the series they make their way to the home of Pen & Pixel founder Shawn Brauch. Great piece of history here and some cool stories to go along with it.
Check part 1 below and then answer this question; what was your favorite album cover from the Pen & Pixel days?
