With their joint project set to drop this Friday, Mason Dixie and Lloyd Musa gave me the green light to release the official artwork and tracklisting. The February 21st release date represents the same day in 1965 when Malcolm X was assassinated in the Autobon Ballroom in Manhattan, New York. The album will feature Verse Simmonds, D.Woods & The Notorious B.I.G. along with production from Drumma Boy, Shama Joseph and Ace Harris. Check out the full tracklisting after the jump.

Each bullet is the exact one used to kill each leader. Stitched on each shell casing is the date each man was assassinated using the bullet. We did this to make a elegant yet haunting and powerful statement about the history of violence surrounding black males in this country without doing too much or using each man’s likeness exploitatively. See if you can spot each man’s face on the front and back covers though!
